Hey guys this past Thursday was my first official Charleston Blog Society outing!!!!!πππ
It was at the Charleston Revolution indoor cycling class. . . . Which was awesome and just in time for bikini season.ππ especially since I've been feeling like a busted can of biscuits latelyππ
Just a list of standard rules to follow whenever you do take a class.
When you first get to Charleston Revolution they get you to pick out where you want to sit, and they have a snazzy seating chart up front. Since I haven't cycled in quite a bit I wasn't confident enough to sit front and center . So I decided to take the third row.
I had no idea that specific footwear πwas required for these classes that click right into the pedals. The good thing is they have shoes there and give your size. They almost look like bottle openers on the bottom :-)
The inside was so stinkin pretty it was almost like a really cool Planetarium.ππ Our instructor was SJ, who is just a fun ball of energy. I have always been very hesitant to do group exercise. In my head always think if you aren't able to keep up with everyone else the instructor may go drill sergeant on you but SJ was not like that whatsoever. It was like having a fun motivating friend in your corner with a snazzy playlist mind you. πΆπΆ
When the class was over I was completely shocked how fast it flew by it did not feel like 45 minutes whatsoever. The next day I realized how out of shape I must be because there were muscles sore that I didn't even know I had. I wonder if Romy and Michelle had this problem. . . .
I would definitely like to go again..... Especially so I can look like one of these people on their hallway mural π
The cherry π on the sundae was winning the Charleston Aviate hat and Charleston Revolution water bottle :)
If anyone is interested here are the rates for the classes.
Thanks for joining us! So happy to have you in the Charleston Blog Society.
